Hey I have read your p0770 camry post, and my car just get same problem, how you located and fix it? I have service manual and can't figuare it out......
Make sure your transmission fluid is clean and red. If it is dark you need to flush it. The code p0770 can be caused by a number of things, but most likely the check ball in the solenoid is stuck open or closed due to varnish from dirty fluid. A flush and a few drives might get it unstuck and clear out the code. You can also test the solenoid and the wiring/computer on the Camry. You will need at minimum a test light, two jumper wires with protected aligator clips, and two sewing pins or a paperclip. Plus you need access the solenoid which is on the front of the transmission behind the shift cable and neutral saftey switch/position switch on the Camry. If you get that far you can email me for more directions. scott at spkorb dot org
Hi, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you reduce it, any plugin or anything you can suggest? I get so much lately it's driving me crazy so any assistance is very much appreciated.
I review every comment personally.
